Silence The Robots

Is it not about time that auto-attendants, that voice mail woman and other robots answering our phone calls are stopped? To account for the amount of time I've wasted waiting to "Push one for English" or "Pound after entering your sixteen digit account number", nevermind all of us the world over collectively waiting and waiting.

End the madness. Touch tone is the default option. English is the default option. If you want me to enter a specific number of digits: fine, you don't need thirteen different confirmations about whether I was finished or not. If I don't speak english: provide an alternate number or a "Press 9 for español" - which has been popping up here and there but reduce the delays, please.
